Walking Alone

This is lonely,
being my own cheerleader.

When I fall into holes on the road
called mistakes,
When I run out of fuel
from lack of rest,

I gather myself up .

Failure tried to blocked the road
with a sign that says dead end,
so I plan a new route.

I have to keep moving forward
into that uncertain future.
The option to turn back does not exist,
there is no place to return.

The loneliness and pain is temporary,
I will stay on my lane,
to reach that place of destiny,
I must walk this lonely road.
